How to Give a Handoff Report
- State age, gender, chief complaint.
- Summarize key assessment findings (vitals, exam, history).
- List major treatments/interventions provided.
- Report any changes or response to treatment.
- Current status and recommendations.
- Be concise, use a clear structure.
MIST Format: Mechanism/Complaint, Injuries/Findings, Signs/Vitals, Treatments.
